The fine print, up front
How does the free demo work?
Record or upload up to 5 minutes of audio at /demo and get a real transcription back – no account, no card. It's rate-limited to 3 demos per day. The AI summaries, questions and analysis are account features, so the demo shows you the transcription quality first.
Is billing actually live? How do payments work?
Yes – subscriptions are real and processed by Stripe, which handles all major credit and debit cards. Your card details never touch our servers.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Your account links to Stripe's self-serve billing portal where you can cancel in a couple of clicks – no email required, no retention flow. Access continues until the end of your current billing period, and there are no cancellation fees.
What happens if I run out of minutes?
Your existing transcripts and AI notes stay fully accessible. New transcription pauses until your allowance resets at the next billing cycle – or you can upgrade for more minutes right away.
Do unused minutes roll over?
No – and we'd rather tell you that plainly than hide it. Each month your allowance resets. Pick the plan that matches a typical month; you can change plans whenever your usage changes.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with the price difference prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
